[WHY ARE THERE SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS. (Because you're in a Yoko Taro game, duh.) To be fair, she doesn't blame him specifically. It's not like this is the first time a Goliath's managed to show up out of Fucking Nowhere, and with how spread out they are on Earth, it's rare to be able to get support in the first place.

That doesn't mean she likes any of it.]

[ 13O is just having a long day (as always) cut him some slack. He's at least more ready and alert now, because despite their distance and him as an Operator he refuses to allow 2B to get killed. Even if she'd just be transferred up to the Bunker... it always left a sour taste in his mouth. ]

It's coming to you from the west, it's— [ there.

She's probably the first thing that shakes, indicating its arrival. ] 2B!

[She curses under her breath. So much for preparing.]

[The line cuts off there. She would've ended it herself regardless to focus on fighting, but with all the shaking and interference from the Goliath, it might be a while before the connection stabilizes.]

[ There's a tinge of self-disappointment when the line cuts off, aware that after that what he can do is limited. But considering that there's a Goliath type in the midst there's a possibility of other units coming to the battlefield... or not.

He leans back in his seat, sighing out when the connection finally stabilizes after some time. There's eyes on his back that are cutting him open for managing to slip up that bad. ]

2B? [ Of course, even after that, he remains calm. ] Damage report?

Substantial injuries, but I'm fine. [She sounds ragged and worse for wear, but it's a coherent answer at least. Death might be cheap for her, but she prefers this as a win.] The Goliath type machine has been eliminated.

[By herself, as he'll probably be able to notice. It certainly accounts for how wounded she is.]

That's— [ Great? Good? Fair enough? She nearly died due to his lack of awareness, and while they were experiencing some obstacles it would still be his responsibility. He's not particularly proud, not of himself at least, but still offers a wry smile. ] I'm glad you're okay.

Will you be able to make it back to the Resistance Camp on your own? I'll call somewhere over to help escort you if it's too much.

[ He might be babying her a little bit but listen... someone's gotta do it okay. ]

I'll be fine on my own. [She says through grit teeth while not really sounding fine, but hey she's been through worse! Babying is totally not needed (even if it probably is).] But thank you.

[For better or worse, she's just used to doing things on her own. This isn't a slight against 13O, honestly. Operators can only do so much from the Bunker, and she understands that. It's just the way things are, or that's what she thinks anyways.]

[ A single corner of his mouth curls up, but then his features relax. ] Well, so long as you say it's a-okay then why don't we find something a little more challenging? It'll get you bragging rights. [ It won't. And he realizes that, which is why he waves a hand. ]

I'll send some supplies down to you, maybe I'll even be nice and give you a leave a little letter.

[ 2B deserves a better Operator 13O is honestly the worst. ]

[He might not be able to see it behind her visor, but she's definitely rolling her eyes at that. 2B might be content in her life as a soldier, but she'd still prefer being alive over death okok.]

A letter is unnecessary. [They can talk fine just like this, can't they? Besides, a letter sounds sentimental, and emotions are prohibited, gosh!!] I'd appreciate the supplies though.

[ 13O has selective hearing and being told not to do something when he wants to of course receive an all too delightful hum on his end. ]

Alright~ I'll remember that. I'll get your supplies ready so be sure to check on that soon. Anyway, I'll be ending the transmission!

[ And all he needs is a small nod or silent agreement before cutting out. Going to find the supplies necessary before he's cut off briefly by a small scolding from the Commander.

Emotions may be prohibited, and 13O may be lacking in them here and there, but it's a rare occasion and rules were always meant for a little bending. At least in his perspective, which he does in the form of that letter 2B tells him isn't necessary:

You know how much Yorha units cost, right? Especially Type-B's such as yourself. It's a real hassle sometimes whenever someone familiar of our expenses reminds me how much that costs... but I'm happy to be an operator to a Battle type that isn't rushing into things blindly and takes care of herself.
