at the very least, they could spare him the ropes? he's fairly positive he can't hurt anyone bare-handed, anyway -- nor outrun a vampire, for that matter? lazy ho.
crowley doesn't look particularly apologetic about it, neither; nor does he sound like it, his speech given clearly for the sake of formalities rather than trying to be genuine.
he's too busy staring at the taller man's fangs to truly process any of this, anyway. so long?? ]
Huh? Oh, no. I'm not scared. [ try irritated, though the other's question does make him quirk an eyebrow. different -- it's not the first time he's heard this, nor does it surprise him that a vampire can tell. still -- it's not exactly information he's willing to reveal with his life on the line, either.
it puts someone else in danger, too -- on top of possibly being damning to him in the first place.
so he's silent, for a few moments, gaze wandering from crowley to all the walls and details of his office. there's really no good answer to that, is there? ]
She can't, can she? [ he speaks up, after the pause, humming in thought. ] Humanity is low on numbers as it is. Killing me here wouldn't do you any favors, right?
[ it's a bit of a long shot, but it's not as if he's got anything to lose. except his life. ]
Anyway, you've got it all wrong. I'm pretty normal, see?
no subject
The hesitation makes it so obvious that he is hiding something the vampire has to force himself not to laugh. ] We left the decorating as is when the humans abandoned this place, so it's pretty dull. [ Not that Crowley had much of a sense of what is and isn't beautiful. ]
Hm? [ He hums, taking a step closer with a quirked brow. ]
Under my command she's free to do as she pleases, bending some of the rules isn't anything terrible. We wouldn't even get a day's worth of sun exposure as punishment.
[ Maybe a cut on blood but that's Chess' problem. Crowley was content with little intake as long as he got by. ]
Wrong. [ And like that Crowley lifts his foot and stomps down onto Gran's thigh. Not hard enough to shatter bones but there's going to be a bruises, without a doubt, the next day. ] You're the only human in the room and there's something about that smells off, as if you're balancing back and forth between two beings. [ There's not a hint of threat in his tone, eyes and smile remaining mildly playful at best. ] So why don't you stop lying to me before I really have to punish you?
no subject
or... not exactly, as his situation worsens pretty fast.
with a small hiss, he glances down at crowley's foot, grimacing as the vampire puts pressure on his thigh. it's not extremely painful, but if the bone breaks, he knows it will be -- it's possibly the worst place for an injury like that, really. sucking in a sharp breath, he tips his head up to look at the other again, forcing a small, tense smile. ]
Are you sure you're not simply making things up to torment someone? It sounds really weird, you know. [ he has to think about lyria, and what revealing their connection would mean to her -- which, inevitably boils down to danger.
it's fine if he takes the brunt of it, as long as she's safe. ]
I am telling the truth. You simply choose not to believe me. [ his hands strain against the ropes again, itching to shove crowley's foot off of his leg. ] Are you sure someone's scent didn't simply rub off on me, earlier?
no subject
Ha... this tactic really hasn't changed over the years.
[ It's completely human for someone to choose the safety of either themselves or their comrades above telling their enemy. It's become a repetitive scenario since they've left the underground and came to "protect" the last of the human race, but before then he remembers the oath between brothers of never spilling information to enemy forces. Often times he'd reminisce, but Crowley has become a little less patient in the face of those who are dishonest. Whether or not they had good intentions behind them. ]
That's not how it works. [ Lifting his foot off of the man, he dips down to grasp his chin with his thumb and forefinger. ] I really was going to give you a chance~ But it looks like I'll just have to take a good bite out of you.
no subject
except, no amount of fuck ups are enough to deter him from protecting lyria, so -- for him, it's still a good tradeoff. crowley doesn't look particularly pleased, but it's not as if gran expected him to be happy about being denied; rather, it'd be much stranger if he didn't show any annoyance by now. ]
I wouldn't know. [ he's no vampire, so he can't tell what they can and cannot smell? that being said, it's worrying crowley can tell anything at all -- since that means the others can, too.
he's going to worry about possible future problems once they arrive, though, tipping his head up as prompted to look at the other. ]
And what would that solve? Will you be able to tell anything if you bite me, or are you hoping to scare me into talking? [ as much as he wants lyria safe, he doesn't want to become dinner, either? ]
no subject
[ He knows perfectly from experience. Stubborn loyalty that kept him wrapped up in the crusades affairs even after he had stopped going to the church and left the army all together. Because when they said that they needed him he couldn't look at the remaining of his comrades in the eye and say no. ]
I won't be able to determine what you are exactly, but I'll least know that you're not completely human once I've taken a little bit out of you. [ Thankfully Gran has done a majority of the work for him by tipping his head, which leaves Crowley only needing to crouch down to his height. ] But if you struggle then I'll just drink every last ounce of blood you have in you.
no subject
it's fine if crowley knows; as long as he has no way of tracking it back to lyria, gran thinks it's... not the worst case scenario. there isn't much he can do about it, right now -- surrounded by three vampires, it's probably best to stay put.
have fun crouching down, though?? they're like fucking 30 cm apart rip. ]
You're going to be disappointed, you know. [ he tries to sound composed, heart picking up pace despite his seemingly relaxed demeanor. he's not scared, he tells himself -- it's fine if he just stays still, right? ] Considering you made sure to get me tied up, I don't think that's an option, anyway. Don't get me wrong, I would if I could, but --
[ ahem. ]

i'm gonna hate doing this
[ Because he can feel it, hear the blood that's rushing through the smaller's veins. And as much as he's trying to feign composure it's far too obvious in both Crowley and his retainer's perspective. He can hear Chess getting antsy somewhere in the background, complaining and wanting a share of her own—actually... ]
Chess, if you're that hungry then come eat. It'd be bad if you ended up starving.
[ Horn voices complaints, her voice reaching a higher octave while Chess blissfully celebrates and comes closer despite the older of the two female's protests. ] It's fine, it's fine, she won't drink too much from him. If she does then I won't allow her to drink from me. [ His knee settles on the floor, keeping him balanced as the hand on Gran's chin gradually moves up to tangle into brown locks. Straightening his neck immediately and leaving room for both himself and his overexcited retainer. Chess, with bright eyes and a grateful purr, places her hands on Gran's shoulders and presses close against his back. ]
I'll be reaaaaaal careful, but you better not move a lot, livestock! When you humans squirm I just can't help myself. [ There's something threatening in her tone, something that Crowley responds with a drawn out breath and perked lips. Chess was still young, still learning, soon enough she'll grow tired of having to fight her prey... but perhaps that could be something that sticks with her throughout the years, just as Crowley's search for entertainment does.
Giving Gran a glance, pupils wide with bloodlust, Crowley offers an all too chilling smile. ] You heard her, so don't move.
Let's bite him at the same time, Lord Crowley! Ready~ One, two... !
[ From behind, Chess tilts her head and leans forward seeking the right side of Gran's throat. Tongue extending and slowly dragging across his skin, gathering a taste before she playfully teases the sharpest points of her fangs before allowing them to sink into flesh. Crowley, on the other hand, doesn't tease and neither does he hesitate to open his mouth and close in on the unoccupied left side of Gran's throat. Filling his mouth with blood, leaving an odd impression on his tongue as it trickles down his throat, breathing through his nose as the realization hits him subtly.
Or, perhaps, he should say that it's to be expected.
Crowley pulls away first, Chess still slowly draining blood as the oldest vampire brings his free hand up to his mouth to wipe off the remnants of blood peppering his mouth. ]
Hm... I should really let her drink you dry for lying to my face. [ It doesn't matter that Chess is stuck to him, he pulls Gran by the hair to the side and she's whining when she's forced to open her jaw and stop. It leaves the mark she's left on the... should this person be even considered human? Ah, just cattle should be fine. ] You're not human, though, so that means you'll be able to sustain a vampire's punishment, right? [ He doesn't give him time to answer back. ] Chess, Horn, help strip him down.
I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE also this is so stupid long im sorry
lbr, chess is probably more scary than crowley -- mostly because she strikes gran as the volatile, careless sort. ]
That's -- [ no, actually, he has no idea what to say to this. he can't promise not to squirm, considering that it'll probably hurt, and... it's not as if it matters, anyway. he doesn't feel like they regard his opinion very highly -- so instead of protesting, he decides to grit his teeth and bear it, exhaling a weak whine when both of them bite into his neck.
the sensation itself isn't that awful -- he's been through worse, including actually dying, but it's painful regardless. in the end, he can't help but move around; tip his head back a little further to ease the sting in his scalp, body jerking uncomfortably.
he's not sure how much of his blood is human and how much isn't. how much inside of him changed ever since his soul has merged with lyria's and -- by extension -- a primal beast. he knows that lyria can probably tell he's hurt right now; feels an odd headache coming, as something thrums inside of his mind, clearly displeased. whatever happens, he hopes she doesn't come to look for him -- and that he'll never feel the painful pull of having the second part of your existence hurt. ]
Hah... why don't you? Interested? [ when they finally part (it's not unlike pulling leeches away from your skin --), gran glances up at crowley, ignoring the unpleasant burn of multiple bitemarks, as well as the blood still escaping open wounds.
ok, wait. he thought this was meant to be the punishment? ]
What? [ crowley's not wrong; gran can withstand more than an average human, just barely dizzy from the sudden blood loss he'd just experienced. regardless, that doesn't mean he wants to be subjected to any more, listen. he expects the worst, though. ] ... aren't you done? I got it, it's bad to lie.
[ wait, wait -- strip him? ]
Hey, what are you gonna do? You won't figure out what I am just by looking at me, you know. [ naked or not. still though, he can't help but begin moving his hands a little, in a fruitless attempts to undo the ropes. the other vampires joining in on this make him understandably concerned. ] Can't we -- talk it out one on one --
no subject
[ At least Crowley has Chess and Horn? And he's actually good looking? Ferid has what... thigh high boots... that can only get a man so far.
But he knows that he doesn't know Ferid intentions at all. He could do the same thing he did to that child, Mika, killing every last one of his family members, or perhaps he'll scheme up something else and experiment on him. Honestly there's so much that he doesn't know or understand about the other vampire that the possibilities are endless. And honestly, after getting a taste for himself, Crowley's mildly concerned of not getting his fill later. While it may be considered illegal in their society Crowley was never a man who followed rules perfectly, some bending here and there was necessary. Or rather, he did it simply because he felt like doing it.
And right now he simply wants to keep Gran within his grasp. ]
Unfortunately we can't~ I tried doing that earlier and you wanted to keep your mouth shut. Besides... [ He lifts a hand, gesturing to the vampire behind him. ] She's not satisfied with just blood, either.
Lord Crowley! Don't tell him, it's not normal that we come across cattle with interesting blood! [ But her arms wrap around Gran, securing him in place as a heavy sigh comes from the other female vampire across the room. Horn slowly makes her way over, eyes narrowing once she's within arm's reach of both Chess and Gran. ] But wouldn't it be better if we just killed him now? It's more bothersome keeping a pet such as this... Especially one so disobedient.
[ Crowley chuckles lightly in response, just in time for Chess' hands to wander and begin removing articles of clothing. Or just barely, considering his hands will remain tied. But she at least pulls off what she can before getting frustrated and just... tearing it. Oops. ]
But that's the whole point, we're disciplining him so he'll learn to listen! That's exactly what humans did to the animals below them, so it's only appropriate for for us to do the same. [ Crowley pauses, leaning back against his desk before giving Gran a curious glance. ] Besides, you had a reason to hide it right? Because either you didn't want to get hurt or... maybe you don't want to throw a few friends of yours under the bus? It's only human of you, after all.

unfortunately, they're still two. and as long as they're two, while technically being one, he can't let himself die. the connection means that if he dies, so does lyria -- so no, he's not very eager to mess with three vampires at once, the odds obvious without him having to do any calculations. ]
... that's fine. [ if that's their deal -- life in exchange for being kept -- then gran's not going to argue. better him than someone else; possibly someone without this kind of capacity to recover and withstand damage.
plus, he's not particularly disinclined to believe crowley. the vampire seems to dislike lying as a whole; and when he says there's someone worse than him out there, gran doesn't doubt it for a second. at least he's still in one piece? and while he'd never think that the repercussions of being inhuman would be... like this, he'd at least expected them to come, eventually.
the actual problem now is dealing with the three of them all at once? but, well -- maybe if he listens, nothing drastic will happen. the third female certainly doesn't seem excited to participate. he can feel deceptively thin arms sneaking around him, chess' strength certainly impressive even when she's not particularly trying; he wasn't going to move, anyway, though his body does jerk instinctively when she begins stripping him. ]
Hey, these are the only clothes I have -- [ they didn't let him pack before coming here?? that said, he does... try to sit patiently while she tears them off, grimacing slightly at the sudden amount of exposed skin.
'animals below them,' crowley says. 'pet' is certainly far away from 'monster.' it's an awful downgrade, gran thinks. ]
What do you want from me, anyway? What the hell am I supposed to be listening to? [ he's not going to talk, so anything else is fine, but -- what does crowley want instead? ] ... hah. I think it's natural to not have a death wish, isn't it? [ it's only half a lie? or rather than a lie, it's simply... omitting the other truth.
he does say it completely casually, though. sounding persuasive is hard when you're half-naked and surrounded by people who could easily kill you -- ]
Now that you know the truth, shouldn't you assume the opposite? That I won't do what humans do. That seems like the safer bet, right?
no subject
Yeah! Lord Crowley is a kind person! Though... it's a little weird for him to care about a human this much... [ Chess presses closer, cheek resting against the side of Gran's face as her nails lightly trace and dig into his chest. Nothing painful, as she notices the caution in Crowley's eyes, but enough to make her envy known. ] It must be because you're different. And if he likes you then I'm gonna like you, too!
Huh? When did I say that I liked him?
[ Crowley looks genuinely shocked for a change. ]
That's impossible for us vampires, Chess. Don't make jokes like that.
[ And it wasn't like his interest in Gran ran deep, in fact it's incredibly shallow. He knows much more than he's letting on and there's an undeniable fact that the young man was trying to keep someone else from being hurt. It's not like vampires were deaf, and both Chess and Horn did their jobs well when they were not keeping Crowley under constant watch. But that's not information Crowley is willing to let reveal to anyone, not even when asked. It's not to remain ominous, but rather for Gran himself to realize just what Crowley is doing here. ]
I guess you'll have to use that brain of yours and put the pieces together, hm~?
[ He's giving him a choice: side with him and keep his comrades alive, or let become another pig for the slaughter. It's not his fault if Gran can't realize the obvious.
But somewhere between his final words and Horn's sigh Chess is allowing her hands to go south. Ghosting over Gran's thighs and squeezing them with her hands roughly before releasing. It's only then that Horn, too, levels herself by sitting down and tucking her legs underneath her. It's when the blonde vampire is closer, surrounded by nothing but the smell of blood coming from the wounds on his neck, that a faint blush appears on her cheeks. From far away she could catch his scent, but being closer brings a spark of excitement to course through her veins for some reason. It tempts her, leaning closer so that she can extend her tongue and lap at the remnants of blood and get a taste for herself, something that brings a heated breath to escape.
Chess pulls then uses her strength to pull Gran back, having him sit flat on his ass. ]
Go ahead and take them off, Horn.
[ And it's done silently, the older of the two female vampires leaning forward and allowing her hands to tug at his belt and unhook it. Fingers working gracefully to unbutton his pants before curling them around the hem and pulling down. ]
But just forget about all of that and enjoy yourself.
no subject
What kind of a sad stereotype is that? [ 'impossible for us vampires' OK EDWARD
that almost makes gran feel bad for him, for a change -- that's not a good mindset to be stuck in? look? granted, he doesn't know much about vampires, but somehow, he also doubts it's the species that dictate what emotion they can and can't feel. in reality, it's probably simply because crowley is old as balls -- too jaded to believe in anything positive, gran would say.
this probably isn't the time to take educated guesses about that, though. he winces, startled, when chess squeezes his thighs, only now realizing horn has sat down right next to them, too. like this, he really does feel surrounded -- gaze wandering from one vampire to another, body resisting every urge to struggle and run for... his life? his death? probably.
the attention flusters him more than anything else -- he knows he's probably embarrassingly red, especially when they begin to pull his pants off. horn's tongue against his neck doesn't feel bad, either; she's gentle, as opposed to the ones who made the wounds in the first place, but... still... he does obey though, and raises his hips to make slipping the material off a little easier, bending his knees appropriately. ]
... while you watch? That's... messed up. [ not that this situation isn't to begin with, though admittedly it's not what he'd expected to get for lying. if he were to name it, he'd say this is more of a reward than a punishment? ]
no subject
Do you want me to join? [ Crowley remains relaxed against the desk, a hand curling around the edge as he shifts into a comfortable position. He's teasing Gran, of course, eyes never wavering from his face despite Chess and Horn both working diligently. What sets him apart from the younger vampires in the room is that he doesn't appear to be interested in participating, but it would be a reach to say that he was absolutely content with just watching.
But for the time being he'll observe. His expectations burning into a blank sheet in hopes of being entertained. ] If you can handle those two then maybe.
I doubt he will~ Look!
[ Chess gestures her head, grabbing Gran by the chin and forcing his gaze down. Horn pushes the remainder of his pants off before she begins to palm his crotch, easing between his legs and kneeling down, the heat causing her cheeks to flush with a surprising amount of red. Fingers following the length and curve, slowly forming out the shape of his erection as it hardens underneath her touch, the blonde vampire doesn't even realize just how dry her throat feels until she swallows. Of course Chess can't live this moment down, chest pressed hard against the back of the man squeezed between them. ] Don't. [ An order, one that has Chess visibly pouting. ]
I was just gonna say that he was small! I bet he'll finish quick.
[ Chess then decides to distract herself by playfully nipping at Gran's neck. Teeth grazing against skin, hinting at possibly tugging and breaking through for blood once more but she restrains herself, releasing a heated breath. ] But if he doesn't that means Lord Crowley will come play~.
[ Horn pulls down Gran's boxers by the hem, closing her eyes and taking in the scent of his manhood as she leans closer. She feels herself salivating, a reaction that comes from being watched much more than it was the desire to pleasure the human, tongue dragging flat against the head of his cock before she wraps her fingers around the base of his cock. Dragging her fist upward, tilting her head so that her tongue can roll against the length of cock. She hesitates for a brief second, wrapping her lips around the head of his cock and circling her tongue around the head. Her fangs subtly brush against his skin, a remainder if nothing else that any sudden movements will mean he's gonna be... bickless :( ]
